Taffs Well village has various facilities, however the Taff Trail avoids the main street, passing between the Station Car Park and Industrial premises at the former "Walnut Tree" railway junction where the Rhymney Railway was joined to the Taff Vale Railway. The track from this junction to Caerphilly forms part of the Taff Trail.
